The first step to avoid renovation pitfalls: don't rush to start plumbing and electrical work if the whole-home customization plan isn't finalized
One of the most easily overlooked points in renovation pitfall guides is that whole-home customization, plumbing and electrical points, kitchen appliances, water purification, and lighting must be planned together, otherwise it's easy to have outlets blocked by cabinets, misaligned water supply and drainage, and rework later.

Changing plumbing and electrical before finalizing cabinets is a sequence prone to rework.
Much renovation rework isn't a material issue but a sequence issue. When kitchen cabinets, entryway cabinet, TV cabinet, nightstand, and appliance sizes haven't been confirmed, plumbers and electricians first cut channels and run wires based on experience, later it's easy to have outlets blocked by cabinets, missing access openings, LED strips without power and other issues.
The correct sequence is to lock in final dimensions first.
It's recommended to confirm the whole-home customization plan, kitchen appliance models, water purifier placement, robot vacuum base station, TV wall-mount height, and LED strip control method before creating the plumbing and electrical positioning drawing. Plumbing and electrical construction should follow the drawing, and photos should be taken before sealing channels.
What information needs to be synchronized for allvs plan communication
When booking an allvs whole-home plan, it's recommended to prepare floor plans, appliance list, household members, storage needs, and budget range in advance, so that design, plumbing and electrical, materials, and delivery boundaries can be aligned early, reducing the risk of later changes to wiring and cabinets.
